In 2015-16, Southwest Shakespeare Company will enter its 22nd Anniversary Season and its 10th season of performances in the Mesa Arts Center. We know that times are tough and understand that your first priority is to ensure that your hard-earned dollars go to supporting your immediate personal needs. But tough times also mean that our work has become even more crucial.
Because SSC is committed to keeping tickets affordable, revenue from ticket sales only covers roughly 50% of the cost of producing our season of theatre. We must rely on the generosity of business, foundations, government agencies and individuals like you who recognize our value to the community.
Every dollar goes directly into supporting our programs and will:
• Support high-quality, low-cost theater;
• Enrich our youth by providing discounted matinee performances of our full-length, unedited productions, workshops, post-show talkbacks and stage tours; and
• Give Phoenix-based artists and local teachers tools to help the next generation succeed.
Any contribution – whether it be $10 or $1,000 – will play an important role in keeping our tradition of community service alive. So if you can, please help us remain a valuable cultural, educational and artistic resource for the community by making a contribution in any amount.
